See I was coming home from school one day and I saw this guy climbing in a window I did a double take and realized it was my brother, climbing in a window, a second story window, over a vacant lot.

So when he went inside I didn't call the cops, I just moved the ladder. Cause I knew he was gonna steal the TV, and the PC, and the CD, and the VCR, and any other letters he could get his hand on especially the M-O-N-E-Y. And I didn't want to tell my mama cause she would be mad cause she raised us better than that. But I had to tell her, cause it was her house.

Well I got to run. You probably wonder what's the rush? Well. He puts on clown nose. I'm going to the circus. And there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.

See when I was little I use to ask my mother to take us to the circus. But she never would she would just say. "Honey, there's nothing you can see in the circus you can't see right here in your own neighborhood."

"Oh yes there is mama. They got some big oh funny clowns in the circus"

"Oh baby, you want to see some clowns, well why don't you go out there and look at some of them crack-heads on the corner. They're bigger clowns than you'll ever see in the circus."

"But mama please take us to the circus. They got men in the circus who can juggle balls and knives and sticks of fire all at the same time."

"Oh darling if you want to see somebody juggle something, why don't you come sit around this table at the end of the month and watch me juggle these bills."

"But mama in the circus they got a big oh fat lady and you get to look at her and try to guess her weight."

"Oh isn't that sweet my little preaches baby want's to look at a fat lady? Well baby, why not just go next door and look at Ms. Price. I'll bet you she's fatter than anybody they got in that circus."

"Oh mama it's not the same." I begged her, year after year to take me to the circus. So when I got older, I just asked her straight out. "Mama why wouldn't you take us to the circus when we were little?"
