Identifying the problem

It is clear that the public as a whole is deeply misinformed as to what is taking place in the foster care system as it relates to the breakdown and breaking up of families in communities of color especially in low-risk cases. Nether the media nor the general public seems to be conscious of the depth of the devastating effect on children and families when a child is removed from his home, community or school for what in far too many cases are simply allegations and or accusations of neglect. The above information revealed a vacuum in the process and prompted me to put together a program for informing the public and others on this issue, where by creating a platform from which a demand for change can be staged and endorsed.
